The law (article 375 a of the Code Civil [Civil Code]) stipulates that the grandparents have the right to maintain personal relationships (“visiting rights”) with the child.<\/p>\n

Failing agreement between the parties, the exercising of this right is regulated in the interests of the child by the Child Welfare Court at the request of the parties or of the Crown prosecutor.<\/p>\n\n\n
